Season of Preparation

Step Two: Season of Preparation.

Once candidates complete the Season of Exploration checklist and attend both a Welcome Webinar and a Discernment Webinar, the Season of Preparation process can begin.

The Season of Preparation is a structured cohort-based curriculum that is facilitated by an OMS leader that lasts from December to September. This is the Season of Preparation to discern if OMS vows are appropriate.

There is a cost involved in facilitating the Season of Preparation and we ask for means tested approach to paying in the range of £100 – £200. We would never want cost to be a limiting factor in joining the order and a bursary application form is available upon request.

We pray that God will lead you in this journey. 

• Emails are sent to Candidates once both webinars have been completed
• Candidates receive their Cohort assignment in November
• Cohorts start in December and end in October of the following year
• Candidate recommendation from the Cohort Leader start in mid-July
• Candidates then have the opportunity to participant in a Vow Ceremony in Oct/Nov
