I’m British and Canadian but have been serving Turkey since 1991. Offering Spiritual Direction is one of my greatest joys. I love how, in the parable of the mustard seed, birds come and perch on the branches of the tree, finding a place to rest. I see Spiritual Direction kind of like that. I enjoy creating a safe and ‘shaded’ space where people can find rest– the deep soul rest that comes from noticing/naming the loving presence and action of God in our lives. I feel so honoured to hold space with people on the “perch,” where they can encounter the Father’s invitations to deeper connection– because He delights to show up!
